Note: Xylophones are occassionally called "xylorimbas" (or "marimba/xylophone"). A xylorimba is a xylophone that goes a bit lower (into the marimba range) than a traditional xylophone-usually an F. You could call this either a xylophone or marimba, really. The definite of a xylophone and marimba has gradually changed over the 20th Century. These days, a marimba is usually defined as a mallet instrument that goes, at least to a C, below middle C. Concert marimbas can go all the way to 2 octaves below middle C!
