Note: Xylophones are occassionally called "xylorimbas" (or "marimba/xylophone"). A xylorimba is a xylophone that goes a bit lower (into the marimba range) than a traditional xylophone-usually an F. You could call this either a xylophone or marimba, really. The definite of a xylophone and marimba has gradually changed over the 20th Century. These days, a marimba is usually defined as a mallet instrument that goes, at least to a C, below middle C. Concert marimbas can go all the way to 2 octaves below middle C! Deagan Model 145 Vibraharp (Vibraphone) (Vintage 1930s)
3 Octaves, F to F Standard Range, WIDE Graduated Bars, A=440, Variable Speed Motor (Brake), Foldable Frame, Excellent tuning & Very Good condition.
Great instrument for the price. The sound is comparable to a much higher priced vibraphone.
The frame breaks down like a xylophone (bars, come off, 2 top pieces come off sides, etc.)

Deagan Orchestra Bells-Glockenspeil Model 1560 (1969-70)

Deagan Dinner Chimes! We rarely see these. Don't blink, they will go quickly. They are like a tiny vibraphone/bells hybrid.

Key of C. 4 bars, with individual resonator tubes. Incredible sound. Excellent effects instrument or for it's original use in households, trains, etc.
Condition: Very Good. Some scratches and marks on the bars. Sound quality is unaffected.
Comes with original mallet, and a photocopy of the Deagan Dinner Chime Book (full of musical calls for any occassion!)
